A calmer way to compare your seasonal color options
A calmer way to compare your seasonal color options
I used part of Saturday sorting the darker clothes already in my closet. At first I assumed that Deep Winter explained every color I liked. Still, charcoal sweaters can look polished although black near my face sometimes feels too heavy. I photographed several fabrics in navy, espresso, gray, and muted plum. The comparison made me question whether one label could explain everything. I also bookmarked this color analysis because it gave me categories to check rather than a verdict. At the moment I am considering deep navy and cool plum before adding more stark black pieces. I would be interested if others have compared palette labels before replacing a whole closet? I am deliberately leaving bright lipstick, dramatic jewelry, and online quizzes out of this first comparison. Those may be useful later, but right now I only need a repeatable view of familiar clothing in ordinary daylight. A few careful notes feel more useful than a dramatic makeover or a rushed decision about every future purchase.
